Welcome to Refugee Youth Support, where every child’s potential shines!

Explore Our Services!

What? Join us for free tutoring sessions to refugee children in Northern Virginia. We provide 1 hour of homework help and 30 minutes of art and games. We focus on making learning fun and accessible, ensuring every child feels valued and supported.

Who? Our tutors are all high schooler students from across the DMV!

When? 11 AM to 12:30 PM once a month on Saturdays. View our schedule below!

Where? 6301 Little River Turnpike, Suite 310
Alexandria, VA 22312

Why? It is essential that we provide children with access to educational resources. RYS provides our youth with the tools they need to unlock the power of their knowledge!

Our community programs extend beyond tutoring! We actively fundraise to equip our talented youth with essential school and art supplies, ensuring they have everything they need to thrive. Look out for updates on our supply distribution efforts!

Summer Camp

What? Our camp will offer a balanced blend of academic preparation for the upcoming school year and engaging recreational activities, ensuring both learning and fun for our campers! See our “All About Camp” section for more details about the schedule and activities we offer.

Who? Like our tutors, our counselors are all high school students with tutoring and child care experience.

When? 9 AM to 3 PM every day during the week of August 11th-15th

Where? 3900 Howard St, Annadale, VA 22003

Why? By creating a space where these children can learn, grow, and build lasting friendships, we hope to empower our campers with the confidence, skills, and support they need to thrive both in and out of the classroom!
